Saving Children’s Lives — Building a Lasting Legacy of Heart Care​ 
The Chagrin Valley Rotary Club has played an important role in the development and support of Gift of Life Northeast Ohio (GoL NEO), an organization dedicated to providing life-saving cardiac care to children from developing countries who lack access to specialized heart treatment.​ The relationship began in 2003, when Rotary District 6630 leader Jim Frame was asked to help a child travel to Northeast Ohio for open-heart surgery. One of his first calls was to Ken Fogle of the Chagrin Valley Rotary Club, who joined the effort as co-chair. What began as an effort to save one child grew into a much broader international humanitarian program. Although Ken recently passed away, the Chagrin Valley Rotary Club remains dedicated to the support of Gift of Life.​
